Sara and John were able to stay an extra day and Sara fancied a visit to Drayton Manor.
We started off with a burger in McDonalds on the way there...
A trip to the stocks was called for.

We refrained from leaving them both there and went off to spend a good few hours round the rides.
Everyone was at school so there was no queues but still plenty of people around.
The weather was rather cold so we nipped in and out of various attractions to keep warm. The 4D cinema was good even though we had to wear silly glasses...the seats moved and we were sprayed with water, but at least it kept dad from snoring...
Had a look at the zoo, especially liked these little fellas. They had got egg boxes with worms inside and were having a good tussle trying to get them open.

This one looks as if he is smiling for the camera, but he is a bit too blurry if I try and make him any bigger.
Saved the very wet rides until the end of the day as it was too cold to be walking round dripping wet...and they certainly were!
Home, showered, changed and packed and that just about left us with enough time for supper in Caldmore, before our usual rush to the airport.
