Unlimited access to the internet.......

.....because Charlotte has gone to visit Matt. She had a bit of a clear up in the bedroom before she went, and she actually found a carpet. Left plenty of washing and Joe keeps creeping in to pinch "things" out of her laundry pile.
Planning on going off in the caravan on Friday, so have made a start in sorting it out, its a bit cold tonight so I am tempted to sneak in an electric heater and a lamp, just in case we really go mad and end up on a site with hook-up.
Hurt my leg, think I've pulled a muscle so have been hobbling round all day, supposed to be going for a makeover in Harvey Nicks tomorrow, but will have to see if it's any better in the morning

I've been able to get on the computer for 2 nights in a row! Charlotte is still wading through job applications, and so hogs the computer for much of the time, but tomorrow she has a photo-shoot for some magazine or other so she has gone to make herself beautiful - it could be a long job. Don't know the name of the mag - "Guide dogs united" or something like that?

Selina's just rung - in London again, eaten way too much, toooo full to go to bed. Nothing new there then.

Beautiful warm evening so been for along walk along the streets, have met up with a half grown fox cub for the last 3 nights, was hoping to see him again, but all we found was a cat sat in a dustbin. It took off like a rocket and of course Joe wanted to follow. Cats, foxes, whats the difference, they all run fury when Joe spots them.

A weekend at home.

No visitors, no rushing anywhere, just a quiet couple of days at home.

Woke up early Sat morning looked like the start of a beautiful day so we got all the cushions, blankets and even the tent out on the grass. Then the sun went in and it looked like rain, so we lifted the lot back in and it rained, for a few seconds! But at least the tent was aired and back in its bag, never to be used again.

Sunday was dull but warm and so we decided to go to the Black Country Museum for the afternoon. We have got a gift aid ticket so we could get in for free, and we thought it would give Charlotte a chance to do her applications in peace. There was a car rally on so we spent most of the time looking at all the old vehicles, Alan came with us so he and Darsh spent a happy time swopping memories and remembering times long past. I got my fish and chips though! Only just, as they were closing up as we got there. They fry using beef dripping as they did in the old days so Darsh wont touch them, my chips are safe, I don't have to share them. YIPPEE.

Charlotte's graduation

We had a long, but lovely day, in Newcastle.

Had to be there by 8.30 to get her gown, it was drizzling at first but stopped and brightened up to give us lovely pics, warm enough to sit about outside and enjoy the wonderful friendly atmosphere. As soon as she took her gown back the heavens opened and it poured all night. We felt so sorry for the 2 ceremonies that followed ours. They all got soaked.

Charlotte looked lovely in her gown but hated the "hat".The students are now longer allowed to wear them to go up on stage just in case they get hurt, so mortar boards are now just an expensive decoration, only used in photographs and to be worn walking to the hall or outside!

Sara and John at the hotel, trying to teach me how to do a blog. Thanks for your help John, I really appreciate it. Even though Charlotte says I'm hopeless at it.

just a lazy day at home

Charlotte on computer all day filling in applications, Dad not able to use his own computer when he wanted.... not a happy man.
I spent the afternoon in the greenhouse potting up my skinny little tomatoes, dont think there will be any fruit this year.

Today I did this.....

Really enjoyed it!

Cute Dog, no it's not Joey.......

......John was showing me how to put photos onto the page. Can you imagine Joey in a hat and bowtie? I'm sure we would have no fingers left and we couldn't blame him either!
My first blog! Trying to get the hang of this when John isn't around to help me!
