No visitors, no rushing anywhere, just a quiet couple of days at home.
Woke up early Sat morning looked like the start of a beautiful day so we got all the cushions, blankets and even the tent out on the grass. Then the sun went in and it looked like rain, so we lifted the lot back in and it rained, for a few seconds! But at least the tent was aired and back in its bag, never to be used again.
Sunday was dull but warm and so we decided to go to the Black Country Museum for the afternoon. We have got a gift aid ticket so we could get in for free, and we thought it would give Charlotte a chance to do her applications in peace. There was a car rally on so we spent most of the time looking at all the old vehicles, Alan came with us so he and Darsh spent a happy time swopping memories and remembering times long past. I got my fish and chips though! Only just, as they were closing up as we got there. They fry using beef dripping as they did in the old days so Darsh wont touch them, my chips are safe, I don't have to share them. YIPPEE.
