Heading off to London....
........going to help Selina and Pete do a bit of decorating at his flat. We need to get the flat finished, get a large van, and then shift all this rubbish/furniture that belongs to CHARLOTTE moved down to London and into her new flat. That way we will finally get our dining room back as a usable room and not a furniture depot! Ulterior Motives...I really hate painting, and if we get there late enough....maybe, just maybe, Pete will have already finished?
On a brighter note, Sara and I are going shopping tomorrow to get a dress, suitable for me to wear at her wedding. She has booked a personal shopper for the afternoon in John Lewis, I think she thinks she is going to need a bit of help to get me looking suitable.
I don't know why she is worried, after all her father is wearing a kilt.
Also she isn't having a wedding photographer.....cant think why not either....
We went up to Saint Andrews a couple of weekends ago to have a look around at the place and to help with a few wedding arrangements. She has been very busy getting it all organised and it seems to be coming together nicely....
.....see the piper up on the roof, the sound carried so far and it took us ages to spot him up there, we thought he was far nearer to us.
....the stands all set up ready the famous "Open" golf tournament next month.....
......and a beautiful walk we took along the coast in a little place called Burnside, just before Joey stepped off the wall without his parachute!
The last egg....
.....is just about to disappear down the resident bone chute...
Where's my breakfast?
......come on, the service in this place....
......about time too! it was 1pm, and he had just got out of his basket......16 hours without going out for a wee! this dog has a bucket instead of a bladder.
Any more?.....
And why is he getting all this preferential treatment?
Cos he's an idiot, and he stepped off a low wall, not realising it was a "wall" not a "step". He didn't fall very far, but he didn't expect to drop at all, so he didn't brace himself for any landing impact.
I've seen him fall off the settee in the past and he has limped around looking miserable for a few days and then recovered as if nothing has ever happened, but this time it is taking a little longer-old age I guess. So the house looks like this...
......in our attempts to stop him falling down the stairs or jumping on the window-sill.
I thought a bit of extra protein might speed up the healing, hence the eggs, steamed fish and bit of steak, all mixed up with fajitas....his ultimate favourite....dog biscuits?.....bleughhh.
Even if it hasn't made him better faster he has really enjoyed his food, and the weather has been great, so he and I have spent a fair few days sat in the garden enjoying the sunshine.
