.....and nearly the end of May as well. My blog writing is not just slipping..... it has stopped.
So...... what has the merry month of May held?
Charlotte is still here, getting on ok with work, and trying to find a permanent qualified job, as her training finishes soon-2 years gone already. She is aiming for staying in Birmingham or London. She looks for flats occasionally, but her workload is so great that she has little time when she is not working. We went viewing in Moseley at the weekend, and she was disappointed with the flat and I was disappointed with the area. It wasn't at all as I had expected it to be.
We still haven't taken the camper van anywhere, Darsh has spent the last 4 weekends in London, and we never get round to going away in the mid week. The weather has been very changable too. Some nights have been cold enough to put me off camping and sent me down to the greenhouse to cover up my delicate plants. The greenhouse temperature has not gone below 2degrees C, but that is definately cold enough for not camping.
Spent one weekend with Sara and John at their flat, and had a BBQ out on their roof garden.
Took ourselves for a day out along the canal banks in Fradley and Barton-underNeedwood....
Followed signs for the Bluebell woods and ended up in Yoxall. Dogs were banned, so Joe was onlt toohappy to stay in the car and snooze, while we walked...
....and admired, and sat, and appreciated, and marvelled at the beauty all around us.
Carried on to Barton Marina, where there is a Thai restaurant w have fancied trying for ages....
Darsh's highlight of the day!
