There is a rhododendron walk in Weston Park tomorrow. Not surprisingly it does not hold a very big attraction to us this year.
The flowers in some of the Chinese parks were so beautiful. Our seasons of spring and summer were all mixed into one, so many of the flowers we don't see here until July, are in full bloom with the spring flowers over in China. The results were really stunning.
This picture of Darsh's back-and the flowers of course-was the result of me grabbing my camera to snap one of the many unbelievable sights on the streets of Shanghai. I simply couldn't believe my eyes and my camera is always so slow to take-Darsh got in the way.
Petunias, Begonais and Bizzie Lizzie are planted up everywhere, goodness knows how long they last, as the temperature was more 30 degrees, whilst we were there, and is due to get a lot hotter yet, we noticed that lots of the men were still wearing long-johns under their trousers, and the ladies were still in their thick winter tights!
No idea what this is, neither the flower, nor the little bug.
And as for these....
The temple was cheating-they're plastic.....
