Called in at Newlife on the way back and bought me a suitcase, big enough to fit 6 Joeys and the kitchen sink. Woke up this morning to SNOW, galloped up the garden in my nightie to rescue my orange tree that is just about to blossom and needs to be kept frost-free. Joe just stood in the warm, watching and refusing to go out and put one single paw in all that wet. Now it is raining heavily, and he still refuses to go out, but at least the snow has gone.
Sara and John have started their holiday today, they are WALKING round the Ring of Kerry...oh oh!
I picked these Pear blossoms earlier in the week, and the ones in the house have all opened out, whilst their brothers and sisters shiver in the cold.
Joe does not understand the wonders off technology, he can not work out why he can hear Charlotte when he just can't see her at all. Telephone voices are distorted and frighten him, but Computer voices are realistic and send him charging to the window or front door, barking wildly, especially if she whistles him.
He tries to look under the computer, and thats just plain silly- as if Charlotte could hide under there after all that food she will have scoffed in the last month (as long as she avoided the pineapple)
..... He blames me, he isn't sure how, but thinks I have come up with some sort of trick to get him. I usually get the blame for most things round here.
Sara went to a pottery painting morning when she was here last weekend. She painted her pot and then left it there to be fired in the kiln for later collection. So I had to go and collect my Mothers Day present at the weekend.
......A lizard.....a smiling lizard....who is very happy he is not having to walk round the Ring of Kerry in this weather!!!!!
